    This is a very funny quote. I hope that Professor Johnson claims it as his.
    But what is the 'sort of' link to Shakespeare at the end?

    The quote is definitely Johnson's, and the link is to the complete works of Shakespeare, typed by volunteers. I'm not sure whether that proves or disproves his statement.
